Smilegate Announces Vision for CROSSFIRE IP Business Ahead of ChinaJoy 2016
Smilegate Group (CEO Hyuk-bin Kwon) hosted a “CROSSFIRE Vision Summit” to share the value and future visions of the “CROSSFIRE” brand at the Kerry Hotel in Pudong Shanghai, China on the 27th (Wednesday), one day ahead of the opening of ChinaJoy 2016.
At the event, Smilegate showed the growth story of the Group, and mid- to long-term plans for CROSSFIRE along with business plans for utilizing CROSSFIRE IP were revealed for the first time.
After the introduction of CROSSFIRE and CROSSFIRE II, Smilegate announced its business expansion and development plans for games and entertainment utilizing CROSSFIRE IP.
Meanwhile, new CROSSFIRE II partners were introduced, including 360 and The Nine, already under contract, and Finland-based “Remedy.”
Smilegate revealed that the motivation to expand and develop CF IP was “for users to enjoy a more diverse and fresh CROSSFIRE experience” and announced its plans to open doors for a variety of partners to utilize CROSSFIRE IP in this regard.
